Did you perchance
Glance at the moon last night?
It's cresent beauty hung upon strings
And shone with such Heavenly quintessence
that I dared not look upon it
too long, for fear.

Did you perchance feel me wish
last night?
I wished that you would see the moon.
I wished upon
a thousand falling stars
which I have not imagined
not apologize for.

I sighed beneath that moon.
I can still feel it:
the weight of your chest
Against the beating
of a beaten heart,
in sweet embrace.
